The High Peak and Hope Valley Community Partnership (HPHVCRP) is a
partnership of local authorities, Northern Rail, community groups and businesses
which share the common aims of promoting and enhancing rail transport services
in the Hope Valley and High Peak areas of Derbyshire
Passenger focus are an independent public body set up by the Government to
protect the interests of Britain's rail passengers.
Northern Rail is the biggest train operator in Britain, providing
2,500 local and regional train services every day across the north
of England, serving a population of nearly 15m.
East Midlands Trains is part of Stagecoach Group plc,
which also operates South West Trains, Sheffield
Supertram and Manchester Metrolink plus bus
services in the UK and the US.
First TransPennine Express (FTPE) runs
inter-city train services on three main routes
across the North of England
The GMPTE and SYPTE are the public bodies responsible for co-ordinating public
transport services throughout Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire
respectively.

The authority produce Peak Connections guides which have been designed to
make getting around the Peak District without a car as easy as possible. The
guides have lots of ideas for days out, places to visit and fun things to do - all
accompanied by bus or train times.
